Sluguloth the Muculent

A hybrid drawing/writing entry for *Midnight-Cobra's 'design a cult-summoned monster' contest: Sluguloth the Muculent!

As is usually the case with these kinds of things, Sluguloth isn't a biological entity like we're familiar with, but is actually the manifestation into our realm of the ancient Elder God of slime. Thus, he can't be killed as such; however, the spell binding him to our plane can be broken by a sufficiently-skilled practicioner of the mystic arts. In addition, it will also break automatically after 24 hours, or once half of its body has been destroyed.

Destroying it might be difficult, however. Bullets don't appear to do much, merely stick in its body and make it mad. Its body is soft enough, though, that a sufficiently large sustained burst could tear a hole in it.

Attacking it bare-handed is not recommended, though, as the slime that coats it is corrosive, capable of rotting wood, cloth, and other organic materials. Skin is mostly safe, taking no permanent damage from contact less that thirty seconds or so. It still hurts, though. A lot.
